Weekly Top 30

This weekly Top 30 tally was submitted to the North American College and Community (NACC) chart, which tabulates the top 200 artists being spun on about 200 member stations every week. Member stations represent a vast array of non-commercial college and community-based radio services throughout the US and Canada. NACC also compiles charts on a number of specialty genres, including jazz, blues, folk, and hip-hop.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! It’s important to me to highlight queer voices on air all year round, but here’s what queer voices are up to on the charts this week! Coming in at #1, My New Band Believe‘s debut self-titled reminds me why I got into Black Midi. Geordi Greep certainly has his sauce, but Cameron Picton’s storytelling holds its own handily. TV Star is at #4 with their latest release, Music For Heads. Lead vocalist Ashlyn Nagel is nonbinary! And I must shout out MUNA‘s Dancing On The Wall at #30. I see you down there, Katie Gavin.
